The story starts with Neal uttering a controversial statement about the new hockey practice facility only to find out that the architect who designed the facility is Sarai, the only woman he’s ever loved but walked away from, 10 years ago. This then brings the two of them to work together and compromise on the design and eventually confront what happened between them 10 years ago.

The Love Chirp is a second chance and sports romance that I easily devoured and enjoyed. Reading this book was such a nice escape from my stressful days. A balance mix of fun banters, sweet and sexy talks, and a bit of family drama.

I love the chemistry between the lead characters, Neal and Sarai despite 10 years being apart. It’s cute and adorable how protective Rock and Sarai’s brothers are towards her and how close their families are.

This is such a quick and delightfully fun read which I will recommend to those who love second chance and sports romance. The Love Chirp is the first book in the Metros Hockey series. Definitely looking forward and excited for the next book in the series!
